Emerald Pearl granite
Description of colouring and granulometry: dark green, coarse-grained plutonic rock of a black to dark olive-green colour with a regular and uniform structure.
The characteristic colour change effect derives from the fracture and the reflection of the light falling on the anorthoclase crystals which have a lamellar form. The
reflecting light follows the different angles depending on the cutting plane. It is quarried in the south-east of Norway, in the Larvik region, in Klastan.
Production / availability: medium-good.
